For me, family photography is first and foremost about moments genuinely shared together. I usually prefer outdoor photo sessions in nature, where family members can move freely, play, talk and simply enjoy being together. In this setting, the photographs can become more natural, honest and personal.
My goal is not to keep everyone standing in the same carefully arranged pose for a long time. Of course, I also create classic family portraits, but an embrace, shared laughter, children playing, an exchanged glance or any small gesture that truly shows the love and connection between family members is just as important to me.
A family photo session does not have to include only parents and their children. I am happy to photograph several generations together: children, parents and grandparents, because these shared images become increasingly valuable as time passes. Four-legged family members are welcome as well, whether that means a dog, a cat or another much-loved pet.
For family photo sessions in Târgu Mureș and Mureș County, I look for locations and situations where everyone can feel comfortable and be themselves. My aim is to create a natural family photo series that shows more than how the family looked at a particular point in time. I also want the photographs to preserve how they felt when they were together, the closeness between them and the small details that make each family’s story unique.
