Church ceremony

For me, the church ceremony is one of the deepest and most moving parts of a wedding. It is not only the moment when two people say a lifelong “yes” to each other, but also when they make their commitment before God and ask for His blessing on their life together.

There is something special about the silence of a church when the Word of God is heard and the sermon offers spiritual guidance not only for the wedding day, but for the couple’s entire life together. As a photographer, I look for the sincere and unrepeatable moments that express the depth of the ceremony: emotional glances, the stillness of prayer, the moment of blessing, tears in the eyes of parents and loved ones, and the joy with which the couple begins their shared journey with God’s blessing.

I consider it important to emphasise that when photographing a church wedding, I do not disturb the course of the ceremony. I work discreetly and document what is happening, along with its atmosphere and emotions. In churches in Târgu Mureș and across Mureș County, I aim to preserve the solemnity of the religious ceremony with respect while allowing the genuine emotions of the couple and their families to appear naturally in the photographs.
